As per the present requirement of business world managers need to think in unconventional way. The problem lies with the pattern of thinking. In order to survive your business you are required to be creative, sensitive to customers and employees and also you need to be updated about all the latest happenings in the business world. I can guarantee you that your creativity and sensitivity towards your customer will take your business to the next level of success.
One of the most challenging part of business management that I noticed is to maintain a healthy relationship between your subdues and top management. A good manager will always look forward to create a relationship that will be beneficial for both, share holders and stake holders. It is very common problem that you will notice among your junior staffs feeling that probably their requirements are not being given value and it might create a very unhealthy working environment in your organization. If you wanna prove yourself as a good manager then always suggest your subordinates to come with their ideas and also assure them that while making the decision you will keep all the points in your mind that have been raised by them even though you do not intend to do so.
Decision making is the most challenging and important part of management. Remember, management will not only show the direction, it will also act as a leader by example. 80% of your whole responsibility lies in making the right decision. Your decision should be the reflection of views of all.
I have seen many managers who spend their maximum time in lots of business activities until they are becoming totally stressed out. They hardly take any action to refresh their mind. But they should understand one thing very clearly that, they won’t be able to work consistently without proper strategies that will make them stronger. Your achievement or success is the net result of the well beings of all the areas in your life. So it is must to have a good family life to perform better in business.
